DAYMOND JOHN PERSONAL LIFE
While at the peak of his career,
Daymond John lost his family. That
is because he could spend more time in his business than with his family.
Daymond Garfield John was married to his first wife in his early 20s. They were
blessed with two daughters: Destiny and Yasmeen. His passion for business and
being more successful drew him away from his family. He became an absentee
husband and a dad. He could go on business trips for six months and spend the
remaining six months with friends.
During an interview at Forefront, he confessed that
his wife saw him commonly on TV rather than face to face. He said his wife”
literally saw me on TV more than she saw me in person because I was in
commercials all the time, and other than that, I was hanging out." I was so
concentrated on work. Many of us who live with our families don’t see our
families,”he added.
While he was in commercials and
partying with friends, Daymond John Wife continued being ridiculed by the neighbors. The
biggest downfall of his marriage was the disconnection he had with his
daughters. As a result, his wife ended their marriage. As if that was not all,
he had to improve himself for his daughters. His wife asked him to give back to
the community, so he doesn’t lose his daughters completely. His ‘improvement’
led him to start motivational speaking and teaching people about the business
world.
After understanding the value of
family over money, his life changed. He met with his current wife, Heather
Teras. Daymond John proposed to his long-time girlfriend on 22 September 2016 and married

sure that you and the market can sustain any bumps that may occur down the
road.”
“If you go out there and start making noise and making
salespeople will find you. Sales cure-all. You can talk about how great your business
plan is and how well you are going to do. You can make up your own opinions, but you cannot
make up your own facts. Sales cure-all”
“When looking at trends I
always ask myself basic and timeless questions about business, and the one I
seem to always come back to is, ‘How is this different than anything else in
the marketplace?’”
“An entrepreneur needs to know what they need, period. Then they
need to find an investor who can build off whatever their weaknesses are –
whether that’s through money, strategic partnerships or knowledge.”
“Five days a week, I read my goals before I go to sleep and
when I wake up. There are 10 goals around health, family, and business with
expiration dates, and I update them every six months.”
“Fortunately, right now ‘entrepreneurship’ is one of the business
world’s biggest buzzwords and so many young people in our country are looking
up to this new generation of CEO’s as their modern-day rock stars. Whenever you
have that effect, it makes the job of promoting entrepreneurship much
easier.”
